 The food was pretty good . . . wonderful boiled shrimp!! So good in fact that some of the residence of the "Summit at Venice" joined in! |

All of a suddent . . . We had one guest collapse by the fountain and one KMI alumni having medical issues up on the patio!  I think that we had almost all of the EMTs in Venice. |

 Fresh donuts and coffee were provided at the KMI Alumni Business Meeting. |
 Larry Humes conducted the meeting. Alumni finances, KCD/KMI Alumni website, and other topics were discussed. |
 James Hagler, Director of Historical
Resources, City of Venice was the after the meeting speaker.
He discussed the Venice Museum and Archives, the KMI collection and how to donate to it, and the extensive future plans for the museum to benefit from a recent $1,000,000 gift. The KMI exhibit will be one of the major rooms in the new museum. |
